Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory 13th Annual Open House

It’s a pleasure to provide an introduction to our community on behalf of all of our citizens. Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory is a proud, progressive, and prosperous First Nation steeped in the Indigenous culture and language of the Anishinabek.

Like our ancestors before us, Wiikwemkoong continues to move forward, by building partnerships that reinforce our values and traditions with various organizations and local, provincial, and federal governments. Join us as we share information on our programs and services, and enjoy keynote speakers and entertainment. Learn about our public works services, family services, land management, equipment used, external service providers, current and upcoming projects, cultural and land-based activities, and much more! Look forward to our department mascot race, and fundraisers for the elders home like the dunk tank and silent auction! All WUT departments, programs, and services will be on site to meet you and share information.

All public of Manitoulin Island is welcome; children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and pets must be leashed. Water and cooling stations will be available.
